CO-WATERS Coalition

Working together for healthier waters 

The CO-WATERS Coalition unites waterfront cities, regions, islands, and partners committed to restoring and protecting Europe’s oceans, seas, rivers, and lakes. 

By joining the Coalition, members can: 

• Connect with peers facing similar challenges 
• Share knowledge and learn from practical experiences 
• Access training, guidance, and tailored resources 
• Collaborate on solutions that make a real difference locally and across Europe 
• Earn recognition through the EU Mission Ocean and Waters Label 

Currently, the Coalition is working closely with six pilot areas: the municipalities of Rimini and Burgas, Region Sud Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur, Blue Cluster, and the islands of Crete and Réunion.
